welcome to afrika-center
Every story matters. Every person carries strength, wisdom, and potential.
Our Mission
Welcome | Protect | Promote | Integrate
Guided by the values of Welcome, Listening, Solidarity, Professionalism, and Compassion, Afrika-Center welcomes and accompanies African migrants and refugees as they adjust, belong, and integrate into their host communities.
We empower them to rebuild their lives with dignity, confidence, and hope while building bridges across cultures, convictions, and religions through dialogue, mutual understanding, respect, and our shared humanity.
By fostering meaningful relationships and mutual enrichment, we promote integration as a shared journey in which both newcomers and host communities grow together.
At this moment in human history, marked by great movements of migration, identity is not a secondary issue. Those who migrate are forced to change some of their most distinctive characteristics and, whether they like it or not, even those who welcome them are also forced to change.
Join us as we experience these changes not as obstacles to genuine development, but as opportunities for genuine human, social, and intercultural exchange in Africa-Center.
Together, we cultivate inclusive communities where diversity is embraced, every person and story is valued, and everyone has the opportunity to contribute to the common good.
We believe every person deserves respect, visibility, protection and the opportunity to participate fully in society without losing their cultural identity and human dignity.
